On March 14th, a silent auction is being held by local homeschool moms to help raise funds for the Parker's mission trip to Japan. If you have any items that you think would be of fun or benefit to a homeschooling momma, we would greatly appreciate your donation!
Having trouble coming up with an idea for a donation? Anything that might appeal to a momma will be an instant hit! A tin of homemade cookies, a handcrafted item, a gift card, a favorite book, cd...those are some ideas to get you started.
Please email Kay (kay dot dixon at gmail dot com), if you would like to arrange for a pick up of your donated item. Donations will be accepted through March 12th.
Thank you!

God is Working
We are so excited about the things that God is doing! He is making all of this possible. Obstacles are just falling away as we prepare for our journey.
We were able to put in our applications for Passports this week. Very different than getting your Kid's Place Passport!
What a great experience this will be for our family.
Time is flying by - It will be time to leave for Japan before we know it!
Waku waku suru! (I am excited!)

Thinking of Japan
We had a wonderful time traveling over the Christmas holidays to see friends and family here in the US. Now, with the onset of the new year, our thoughts turn to the opportunities and friendships we will be making come Spring. We have done several studies here at home about Japanese culture, but we are looking forward to experiencing first hand what God has in store for us in the beautiful nation of Japan.
